Those barriers were at strange angles(obviously for some good reason)
I used to stand in the Bullens rd paddock in the 60’s but I can’t recall the barriers at similar angles

I'd have said early to mid 50s, and that we started about 1947 at Bellefield. I think we did a bit of training through the week behing the
Stanley Park End. I could be wrong on all 3 counts
