John Ebbrell, the great hope from Everton’s youth system as we entered the 1990s. An England youth international. Maybe there was too much expectation on him, but he never hid and so unlucky to miss out on the 1995 FA Cup final. In the Toffees coaching set up these days -

Sad to see Steve Burtenshaw also passed on earlier this year. Always struck me as a committed Blue who had the respect of the players. RIP

West wife was a classical Pianist, performed concerts made far more money than he did - She stopped him going to the World Cup in Mexico 1970 - or she would divorce him - Westy regretted that moment as they ended up divorced anyway - might as well gone - he would have performed better than Bonetti..... He stated years later ..... England that lol
