Doh we should have won that game ........That’s the “Whiteside” final Joey, lost in extra time ???!
would have been a great Treble, think they just just absolutely knackered after the ECWC final!Doh we should have won that game ........
Dave Hickson scored our winner there in the 1950s in the league we had to wait for a Wayne Rooney goal for our next league win - twice I went there with us once on an unbeaten run we wish robbed that day my hero scored an amazing side on diving header ......Horrible ground, manager and fans. And although their team could certainly play a bit, Bremner and Giles should have been handcuffed and slung into Armley prison for their "tackles".
That was us going for the Treble. Just didn't happen for us that day. Arrived back into Harwich on the Friday from the Hook of Holland. Stayed in London Friday night. Rideout was our last WIN in 1995 against United. Dave Watson lifted the trophy. Happy memories for us all. Nil Satis Nisi Optimum. That’s the “Whiteside” final Joey, lost in extra time ???!
