That last sentence a bit hard on Gordon - with decent luck and a decent keeper he'd have won us a trophy.

Indeed he would have done. Having crap or bog average keepers between 70 and 81 cost us at least 2 league titles, and maybe a couple of cups.

Peter Scott had a run in the team at right back, John Smith played a couple, Alan Wilson played at least once as far as I can recall, at home to Coventry when we had an injury crisis.
