Was it ever possible to walk from the Park End to Gwladys Street (or vice versa) at half time? My late uncle told me that he thought that it did happen at one point, but did not say exactly when.
Yes it was, you could walk all a round to the old paddock from the Gwladys street end it was only blocked off by the old boys pen ....so my older brother told me - plus the Bullen's road end in the early 1960s was all standing - no lower tier stand with seats - evidently a great spec in the old days at the back undercover close to the pitch .....
