My older brother in the early HK games stated the attendances were that low, particularly in the mid-week league cup games - he saw a bloke walk a hundred yards to get a light for his cigarette low being at 8-12000 - depressing HK had not settled in they were calling for his head virtually with the team that went on to win honours ...
