Best decision he ever made. His exploits against PNE scoring yet another hat trick in April 1970 sending us up to the top flight and nobbers to Div 3 made him a bigger legend at BR than he ever was at GP.

Great team, remember after suffering a West Brom defeat my hubby would treat me to a ride up to Goodison to see a decent team (he was a Villa fan so suffering to), 6 quid on the door if I remember rightly. This was a weird shaped cup though, reminded me of something from Ann Summers Xmas Catalogue
