Oh what a day that was Joey, Roy really was deadly. It was my first season going to the match, my elder brother took me to most home games that season. I'm just that bit older mate, I was 10 when we won the title in 63. It really was a great time to be a blue. My first 10 years watching Everton were very special, but, I never saw anything quite like the team from 67-68 up until 69-70, now that was football for you. Pity the Catt was starting to have his health problems and made some questionable decisions in the early 70's. Selling Bally was the worst of those decisions. A very good team was broken up far too soon.I missed out as I was only 6 years old & my late father was scared of me being crushed - doh -
