Ball's debut at home was against Utd. A typical Manchester snot called John Fitzpatrick kicked the crap out of him and we got beat 2-1
Fitzpatrick I remember him one dirty sod - so much so he came over to take a corner at the park end he got pelted with coins & apple cores - he never took a corner again in that game a pure animal of a player- that game was a 0-0 draw.......
It was the era of the Catt banning TV cameras from our home games .....no doubt .....
