Scottish footballer Jock Thomson (1906 - 1979), of Everton FC, April 1933. Left half-back, Thomson began his career playing for Thornton Rangers and Dundee FC. After his retirement from playing, he managed Manchester City for three years.

29th April 1933: Everton FC and Manchester City FC supporters waving their football rattles and shouting at Trafalgar Square, London, for the FA Cup at Wembley, Everton won 3-0.
