Who remembers the commissionaires on door duties? When did EFC stop employing them? Early 1990s, perhaps?

As a kid I would, pre-game, often stand outside that entrance. Loads of famous faces going in there from stage and screen.

Hard to believe now , but we were a glamour club in the 1960's.

This won't be that particular game as it was on a freezing January day on a frosty pitch. This game is a year or so later when the Toffees got lucky and got revenge for the earlier defeats by the Tangerines with a last minute goal by your hero for a scrawpy 1-0 win.
