I would be tempted to say after 1963 and before 1967 (when Banks went to Stoke) because of the socks the GV is wearing.

I have seen this photo before and failed to identify it 100%. We scored 6 against Leicester in Oct 1959 but Young was not playing then. The only goal I can find scored by Young, at Goodison, against Leicester is from Sep 62.

Just checked my EFC Bible it's the 1961 game October the 7th won 6 -0 -goalscorers Jimmy Fell 2- Roy Vernon 2 - Jimmy Gabriel & The GV Alex Young.....so @April1970 close ...plus the caption is correct ....

Sorry to be pedantic 7 Oct 61 was Notts Forest with Grummitt in goal. Lets just agree its nice to see any Everton side scoring a goal, I hope the current 11 find out how to do it. Happy Christmas to everyone.
