Old Everton Pictures

Everything went wrong on this day for me and many blue fans -
Hold up on the M6 south around Birmingham arrived 10 minutes late.....
EFC fans hooligans had kicked the exit doors open at the back of the Holt end ,,, causing crushing.......
Malcolm Allison decided tactically to Man Mark Bally........
HK Kendall was never 1000% fit, had to go off......
Awful, boring game .......
0-0 looked on the cards .......
Then that so & so got a lucky rebound to fire home in the last five minutes, sat to watch his crappy TV opposite - Colin Harvey trying his best here playing a team with a very nice Manager with a crappy kit.......

A young Jimmy Harris one of the four remaining oldest blues player who sadly passed away this year - Alway remembered as a good hard-working successful CF who will remembered for a hat trick when Spurs beat us 10-4 ... the day our history changed from then on John Moores took over......

Thursday sports night sometimes showed games in a small edition of highlights -
Thanks for that Joey66; also I am amazed with the Liverpool goalkeeper ( Furnell?) practically putting the ball on the spot for Roy Vernon. Was that why Lawrence replaced him very soon afterwards?

Did Tony Waiters have a spell? that Furnell was a bag of nerves -Roy Vernon scored a perfectly early goal in that game, Furnell after making a hash of his clearance only to be told to roll over injured - they only admitted that in the 1980s..... they robbed us again ....

The great John Hurst a centre back pairing with Labby - with an eye for goal the complete player Hursty was - again should have been capped for England - cost us nothing a trainee from Blackpool - @TangerineToffee -

Another excellent player chiseled away from his natural destiny in tangerine. Another colour may have played a role in this diversion. As in brown envelope.
