That's how he looked the first time I saw him play at BR in the early 60s. Remember he had a powerhouse full on game even from this distance in time. Made an impression that always remained with me. Little did I know that night he would come to the Tangerines one day and become legend.

My late father stated at one game v Rovers we have to sign him as he scores against us all the time - we did just that...
