1976 Phil Boyer gets in a shot as David Lawson rushes out but the close-range effort went wide. Game ended 1-1. Boyer scored 34 goals for Canaries and won 1 England cap, Lawson played 124 games for Toffees

1977 The maverick striker Duncan McKenzie played 48 games for efc with 14 goals, here being challenged by avfc defender John Robson who played 144 times after his move from Derby #dcfc but retired in 1978 with MS aged 28

Sept 76 Frank Stapleton and Dai Davies seem to share a joke in the heat of the penalty area, Frank was all smiles at the end as #lGooners won 3-1 and he hit the third. Lyons, Ball & a sun-baked crowd complete the picture
