Roy Vernon of Everton in 1963. - for @roy vernon - he paired up with the GV & the pair of them were a deadly strike force winning the title in 1963 - they had a competition on who would score the most goals - Roy won just, as a deadly penalty taker, but only ever missed one penalty for us away at Spurs as he miskicked - deadly speed over 12 yards - due to his heavy smoking - he could have been even better the GV stated the only player he had seen smoking having a shower after the game - The GV had nothing but praise for him -
