Francis ‘Frank’ King. The mid-1930s Everton goalkeeper found it difficult coping with ‘comparisons’ from the crowd with Ted Sagar - and jacked it in, after a short spell at Derby, to become a policeman. We believe that Frank passed away in Luton in 2003.
