For many years they were a 2nd division team to me - my older brother reckons Anfield was a dump of a ground compared to the Grand Old Lady ....And were there fireworks?? Always gob shuggers
I like the way tickets were available from so many outlets at that time. Also, did fans pay at the turnstiles for those stands that have prices listed?
Continuously fouled more like.Replacement ones on our muddy pitch fell over being out tackled the whole game by Dan lol
Yes - even the away fans ....I like the way tickets were available from so many outlets at that time. Also, did fans pay at the turnstiles for those stands that have prices listed?
He was, and still is my favorite Everton player ever. He was fantastic, and if it wasnt for a certain Brian Marwood, he would have gone on to be our 2nd highest goalscorer in our history behind Mr. Dean. Better than Lineker in my opinion.
Also, when he was sold on, we got our money back too.....He was, and still is my favorite Everton player ever. He was fantastic, and if it wasnt for a certain Brian Marwood, he would have gone on to be our 2nd highest goalscorer in our history behind Mr. Dean. Better than Lineker in my opinion.
We were first and we will always be first. That spawn of the devil that have gone around the world shaming themselves will never ever have our heritage. For many years they were a 2nd division team to me - my older brother reckons Anfield was a dump of a ground compared to the Grand Old Lady ....
I get laughed at when I say that, but I concur with you on this, for our club anyhow,Inchy was a great team player as well as a great forward and an Evertonian,Lineker was great yes,but very selfish, the team accommodated him to their own detriment that one season and I can never forgive him for Oxford away!!!He was, and still is my favorite Everton player ever. He was fantastic, and if it wasnt for a certain Brian Marwood, he would have gone on to be our 2nd highest goalscorer in our history behind Mr. Dean. Better than Lineker in my opinion.
Was too young to remember him play but I had his football sticker and asked for my hair cut like himHe was, and still is my favorite Everton player ever. He was fantastic, and if it wasnt for a certain Brian Marwood, he would have gone on to be our 2nd highest goalscorer in our history behind Mr. Dean. Better than Lineker in my opinion.
