I am struggling with this photo. It is definitely White Hart Lane and it looks like Fred Pickering but John White is in the photo and he died before Pickering ever played at WHL for Everton. And who are Nos 4 and 7 for Everton. Could this actually be when Fred was playing for Blackburn ?

I held the winning "Golden Goal" ticket and this goal won me £100, a fortune for me in those days. Ball missed a penalty, we lost 2-3 and I walked out of Gwladys Street smiling.

Maybe yes as Blackburn played with a white strip on their shirts
