Right-winger sold at the age of 25 years { as a certain young Henderson was outing him out of the side }sold to us on a train on his way to sign for Spurs - the Catt jumped on the train & convinced him Everton & our place was the place for him - Spurs were furious as in 1962/63 - they were our title contenders plus current champions - - its strange that Spurs double winning team have never ever won the league since ......
Chico as he was affectionately called gave the Blues great service a fast direct right-winger who was a provider, and scorer of goals for us from 1962 to 1966 where he gained us a title & a FA Cup ... -
