4th March 1964 - Everton's Captain Roy Vernon congratulates Fred Boomer Pickering following his hat trick against Nottingham Forest, Goodison Park - on a mud heap of a pitch - for @roy vernon & co - little did Roy know he would make way for Fred as it turned out, when most fans thought the GV would be on his way out -
