I thought getting Henry Newton was a duff buy but compared to many of EFC's buys in the last
few years it was a stroke of genius.
He mainly played at full back in the end - I read where he wanted to join another Midlands club before joining us - he reluctantly joined us as we offered more in transfer money plus he got better wages - he was no Henry the Hammer of the player we signed though always seemed to be okish - never bad - but IMO not as good as he was with his former club - he did leave us going back to Derby ? - I think ....
