I read where Joe Royle noted why the whole reserve team travelled to that game - & when the team sheet went up only Moggsy & Sandy Brown, & Andy Rankin were regular experienced first team players the rest reserves - He stated it was a brave performance from the selection as Leeds goals came at the end of the game as the Everton team tired - The first team had to play Manchester United at Burden park the week after in the FA CUP semi-final 1966 - it paid dividends...
