This is the best diving header I have ever seen my hero score to equalise at Leeds away. I was in that shed end 13 years old what a great goal it really was any other poster witness it - we got beat unfairly 2 -1 in the end to end our unbeaten run -

This is not an "Old" photo but another instance when Dom suffered an injustice. He threw himself to turn the ball into the net against Brighton and instead of a goal he received a yellow card for alleged handball.

Big Fred Pickering was really underrated, 70 goals in 115 games, pity a long term knee problem blighted his time with us.- he watches the master Dixie Deanno 9 kick off in his his testermonial off - only 30 years too late .... It was a Merseyside England v Scotland game made up from the two teams from over the park & Everton -
