1984 - Everton 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur. The EFC momentum under Howard Kendall began to build as the Blues sealed a good league win at home to Spurs. Adrian Heath scored twice for EFC.
1939 - Everton 8-0 Doncaster Rovers. The Blues' joint 2nd biggest ever win saw them win a FA Cup 4th Round tie at Goodison over Doncaster. Tommy Lawton scored 4, whilst Walter Boyes (2 goals) & 1 goal each for Torry Gillick & Alex Stevenson were all on the scoresheet.
