The blue & white shirts were worn for the Club’s first four seasons and were the shirts wore in their final season at Anfield. John Houlding in the middle a big Brewery magnet - had paid for the kit, & wasn’t letting it go to Goodison - he even tried to keep our name when we moved, but an appeal to the FA stopped him, and that lot were spawned.....
The GV adorned by our fans in 1966 robbed of a pen & a dubious offside goal - how ironical stood next to him is the match winner Mike Trebilcock -
