It was also the scene where the World Cup was paraded for the first time that season with Ball, Wilson and Cohen
doing the lap of honour. WHU must have been palying away that day.
West Ham were at home that day, losing 1-2 to Chelsea. It was the first Match of the Day programme on BBC1 since its move from BBC2 and their three World Cup players came out first.
