Remember this, huge following from the Villa in the Park End. The following week we beat them in the league, there was more at the cup game than the league game, thats when the FA Cup meant something. The 3rd round of the cup was always a special fixture.

I used to love the old Park End with the away fans in great atmosphere & a great view of the Gwladys street in full flow - The Manchester City fans to my knowledge were the only away fans to gather in the Goodison road end - perhaps as it was like the Kippack side end at their old ground - as dangerous as it was I loved the old terracing at all grounds - The KOP & Holt end at Villa being scary - the best away end was the Wolves KOP we had a great following behind that goal .... The shed end behind the goal at Leeds was a dump & we were always jinxed there ..... no matter how good our side was .....
