Reading the caption about the photographer Gary Talbot he played professional football for crewe & Chester
In the mid sixties he was a prolific scorer for Chester and was all time leading goal scorer for them

I hate mysteries wonder why Frank Darcy is not in the photo ??
Maybe Keith Newton or Tommy Jackson who got dressed -the other players out injured Labby etc ? Just read it was Darcy ? Strange he never fearured much that season ?
Frank Darcy it was {just got out of the shower} - just now checked my bible he was only 4 x no 12 named as substitute in that season - I know Husband & Labby were on long term injuries - why he is not on that photo is a mystery .... maybe he never felt part of it all ... Tommy Jackson & Keith Newton were fit ?
