Some brilliant pictures there mate.
Eastham & Pejic correct Major and the great man himself Alan Ball.
Whilst the two Stoke players where in the team through years 1968 to 1973
Not once did they beat us.
bit of useless info there...
Thanks for this thread - the only one I currently look at that doesn't make me have to go for a lie down in a darkened room afterwards, despite the odd glimpse of Big Brett and David 'Bugsy' Burrows.
I was at this game - sure this is a picture of Li Tie’s only goal for Everton - won 2-3 with Rooney getting stretchered off early on. It was my first visit to Ibrox and found it rather weird that they they scored, the sound system boomed out of fans cheering - weird because the stadium was half empty!!
And Bryan Douglas too...though it is all Easthams fault that players not fit to take his dog for a walk are getting 130k per weekAlways had time for Eastham - a cultured player.

I remember it being sung in the upper park end stands, but for the life of me cannot recall who it was about so you are right about it being sung at the very least.Would anyone know if there was a song we done to "There she goes just a walking down the street Doo wah diddydiddy dum diddy do?" If so I'd expect it to be from 64?
Thanks tommytowne. I wonder if it was just the original words sung? My theory of the first line ending in Gwladys Street would be out with it being the Park End!I remember it being sung in the upper park end stands, but for the life of me cannot recall who it was about so you are right about it being sung at the very least.
How many songs have you managed to catalogue now, you must have a few.
Good hunting.
