Is this at the Park End? Does anybody know what work was done?

I reckon it was all to do with the new stand back in the 70s

there was a row of houses that created a triangular cut out in the stand, it looks like the houses have gone & that was being filled in

The land we first purchased for our new ground was called Mere Green
So the name Goodison Park was given!
The land was a former market garden!

..Mere Bank is at the top of St Domingo Road and is where Everton Library is. My secondary school was just around the corner.
