Brian Labone - Former England and Everton defender Brian Labone was regarded as one of the best central defenders of his era, won 26 England caps and played in the 1970 World Cup finals. He joined Everton as a 17-year-old and made his debut in 1958 before going on to make a total of 534 appearances for the Goodison Park club before retiring due to injury in 1971. Labone played in the championship-winning teams of 1962-63 and 1969-70 as well as the 1966 FA Cup winning side - the last of the Corinthians -
