…when I was a schoolboy I bought a pair of footy boots from there, got them home and they were different sizes. Fuming, I had to go all the way back into town on the bus.

My best Christmas ever came from nhere a 4 ft snooker table with cues & scoreboard -it was hard to get a game in a family of five lol -but I become unbeatable on it .

Later on in life captained a snooker team highest break of 48 - some guys I played were 100 break men a hard sport needing loads of practice ...
