The Silver blades Ice rink - only went there once & that was enough lol

That’s interesting, I’ve never noticed before, but during the renovation of the dock they must have taken the top level off that building on the right, which is now the Maritime Museum.
Now just about in production, they dont make Vauxhall's any more ? -

Bibbys - They once owned all of Court Hey Park Childwall - & hired Garden Staff to maintain it plus had a walled orchard & greenhouses when the two managing directors had two detached 4-bedroom houses at the top of the park leading to a tree nursery & Vernon pools - leased it to Huyton UDC for a nominal fee for 50 years - as long as it was kept as park land -
I started my apprenticeship in the early 1970s for Huyton Parks Department - some of the original Bibby's staff were kept on as part of the deal - Bibby's still had a building where they used prize Bulls for sperm technicalities, with two staff members - they were a massive empire back then in Agriculture feed etc - here is their original headquarters in Liverpool -
