When basic public services go bust - Menlove Avenue May 15th - Liverpool Corporation Parks department were only 2nd to Edinburgh
in the UK - My old boss used to say, if they did away with the parks department - they would only waste the money on something else ? - different times now I know - but apprenticeships etc have all died .....

I did read that it’s now commonplace to let grass verges grow. I’m with you on the lack of public services, but some of the larger grass areas on dual carriageways etc look ok when left to go wild. Verges outside houses can look a mess.
A great cost. cutting excuse from most local authorities- did you know flowering grass give out 80% of flowering pollen for hay fever!
