I grew up here, in the 80s, we left in 89 when they were plans to knock them down. There was some good people and a real sense of community. I miss it sometimes.

Same as me mate.I first learnt to swim there - no sign of @COYBL25 lol the reason my dad travelled, it was a quieter bath's than Dovecot baths ....

Wash baths were brilliant. Queens Drive with a few lads from Gwladys St school Sour faced old lady used a key to ration the amount of hot water you had,then a hot chocolate from the machine. Highlight of the week.…yep, it was the same in Margaret St where I went. I suspect you could take a hot bath in most Liverpool swimming baths in the 60s.
