To be fair to Oldham they deserved the replay, second half of the second half was all them because we just couldn't be arsed though it would have been easier to take if their equaliser wasn't scored by their Ivan Drago impersonator in borrowed time. Even though it's annoying to have another unnecessary game on the fixture list they won't be able to do it at Goodison, without their crowd behind them they'll fall apart and our class will show through, especially so considering we might have Hibbert or Coleman back then to make our right hand side more effective going forward than wet cardboard.

Distinct lack of confidence throughout the team, I thought we played alright football but just sat back far to much in the last 20 minutes, and I wish some players would just have a dig when they get into a decent position instead of constantly looking to pass sideways or backwards. A replay is less than ideal, and we are going to have to be at our best to put them out. COYB FFS

Don't be soft! No way they played better or did enough to deserve a win. I'll hold my hands up and say fair play to them for battling through to the very last second for an equaliser and I'm actually chuffed for them that they'll get a bit more revenue from a replay - as long as they know that class will out in the next game and know when they're beat!
