...........I think Oldham will take some putting away in the replay. We're clearly not playing with the swagger of a few months ago. Momentum has stuttered following barren transfer window and I fear Moyes' recent statement may also have a negative impact on performance. Looking back at yesterday, my concern is that their keeper didn't have many saves to make whereas Howard was busy. Only bonus was that they didn't equalise 5 mins earlier.
We should get through but it wont be straightforward. Perhaps a decent draw would provide more incentive but such things rarely work out where we are concerned. It's difficult but stay positive.

We should be able to beat Oldham at Goodison, but I don't think it will be easy. We'd then be pretty happy to draw anyone apart from City, United or Chelsea. Although, even if the draw wasn't kind, we've beaten the latter two in the cup in recent years and we're a bit of a bogey side for Mancini's side. Our biggest issue is that we still don't have that spark that will conjure a goal to settle a tight game.
