I agree with him.
The lure of La Francais is strong in the boy.

True that, some twitters stats, followersdefinitely signing rooney will make players like this stand up. He's a bigger statement signing than robinho was for real imo. Don't care about age or price etc, rooney is much more known in football than robinho was.
Bit confused about this link really.
Statistically not bad: Avg 14 goals over the last 3 seasons, notably scores more of them away from home which is no bad thing.
Lots of these are headers though, never seen much evidence that Ron likes the kind of early balls in from wide or deeper crosses that he thrives on. Then again not Wenger's style either hence he often seems to be brought on as a sub/plan B at Arsenal.
One of the first things Bolasie said after joining last year was that the manager wants balls going into the box early. Worth also remembering in Bolasie we do have somebody who can put in a great cross, frustrating that he's out until Xmas at least as I reckon he'd thrive with the players we've brought in so far, nevermind the ones we might bring in still.
Koeman loves a big presence up top. He had Pelle at Feyenoord and Saints, and also Austin. Obviously he does switch things up.
Not really much to be confused about

Not watched enough of AFC to know about his presence/hold-up play tbh.
Doesn't hurt to have something different to what we have though, certainly if it means we can switch it up against teams who play anti-football.
Giroud isn't a target man in the Rickie Lambert sense, in fairness. He's a poacher but he does have the ability to hold the ball up well and bring others into play.

I'm happy it'll be a local lad as the public face of the club; however, we could get swamped by this.
