for all you corsa and nova boys on itv "the fast and the furious" me i shant be watching it as if i want to experience high end japanese performance i shall fire up my r32 skyline and go chew some hatchbacks.:D

One of my guys at work has an R34 Skyline GT-R :o How he can afford it is beyond me, considering to get one of the legal one in the US it costs ~$90,000

Quite an achievement as he is on much less than me (I think he has invested well)

didnt think there were any in u.s. as only r/h drive were produced. i brought my r32 back from n.z. and at the time r34 had just come out, a v-spec gtr was nz$75,000 which at the time was about £23,000 here they were £48,000.
in hindsight i couldve made some serious cash on cars when moving between various countries, probably almost doubling my money each time.
a lot of money can be made on cars from u.s. to u.k. also.
a guy was sending morris minors from nz to uk and making loads of wedge, about 6 moggies per container in top cond. the dont salt/grit the roads in winter and the cars dont rot anything like in the uk.

It is a RHD, and he did purchase it legally here. A company called Motorex imports them. To get them legal, Motorex had to crash test a bunch of them, which meant buying them, and then intentionally crashing them. Not cheap, which is why I guess they cost $90000 here. The must be making a sweet profit on them, as there was a waiting list to get them.

On a side note, the new GT-R will be sold on these shore, and it is a BEAST!!!!

it is a beast although is just called gtr and not a skyline.
the nissan dealer in st helens is the only official skyline dealer in europe and has some relly good one in there.
didn't think rhd was allowed in states except for is it postal service etc i.e. so they are getting out on the kirbside. they usd to get a lot of strange looking vehicles in a n auction in nz (all rhd) that they said came from u.s. postal service, usually from hawaii. does dog the bounty hunter not qual. so that his big unit of a wife can just fall out onto the escaping fellons ? quick get him, feck the mace, beths been on the beans:D knock him out babe with your tits.
