Orange socks

As Eggs says, it was Amber not Orange. It was a little tweak when a kit clash occurred, rather than change the whole kit. Why we haven’t returned to this traditional change kit of amber shirts, blue shorts and amber socks? But then again, I’m still fuming about us not wearing blue socks with white topsfor our regular kit. See 1966 cup final (our greatest ever line up btw)
...erm

I think he means - "I’m still fuming about us not wearing blue socks with white tops for our regular kit - like the 1966 cup final when we did wear blue socks."

That's my take on it, but I could be wrong.
Aah right
These sock threads are always a minefield for the unwary.

Anyway, man and boy, I've always been firmly in the Bluesocks with White tops camp

I love these socks, we should use black / navy more imo

Then there is the blue jerseys, blue shorts & white socks kit

Personally, I prefer white shorts & blue socks with a white turnover on the socks.

Blue socks should be in the home kit permanently.

And yes, this has been an issue for me for years. Blue socks are far superior to white socks.

If we can't win anything at least we can look good. Better than nothing.
