Rumor has it he was waiting for Maupay to be confirmed as officially out before he signed. They don’t get along well so I assume he’d take the fan’s side.
We really liked Mangala at Forest. Remember Mousa Dembele that used to play for Spurs? He is much like him.
He is amazing at ball retention & is so robust. He is pretty much press resistent as a player.
But he lacks speed and the ability to get up and down the pitch and isn't the best tackler - will give a lot of freekicks away.
He struggled in his first season at Forest but had a good 6 months after he settled then he went to Lyon for £35m which most at Forest view as a great deal.
He always struck me as a player that if you put good players around him he gets better but if you put bad players around him he gets worse. He will never take a game by the scruff of the neck, but I suppose that's not his role. Not convinced he suits Dyche's football!
