She wakes up and goes the bog in the middle of the night, with her mobile phone and locks the door........who's ever done that?

The whole thing stinks, he's as guilty as sin for me, and it now sounds like he's about to get off with cold blooded murder.

Could have been anyone in that toilet mate, Best to fire a few rounds at the bog door at head height to be on the safe side

Apart from locking the door, I don't think I ever go for a [Poor language removed] without taking my phone. It's the only time I get to myself!

He should get sent down for a long time though, all he had to do was shout his mrs to phone the police/security and tell the intruder he had a gun pointed at the door. Any confusion would have quickly been realised. If he gets off with this, I'm guessing the state can appeal and get better people to do it next time.

Confusion?

Why are we even pretending that he thought there was an intruder?

Think the hole thing has been ramped up into a bit of a witch hunt, the evidence has never been there to prove he meant to kill her or planned it.

Hes guilty of being reckless with his actions in firing at a door no matter who was behind it for, whatever reason, and surely he will be found guilty on that matter

You mean apart from basic common sense?

Of course there is no 'evidence' he meant to kill her. Other than him writing to her via whatsapp how might this have been proven? It was a split second decision to shoot through the door. He screamed at the 'person' in the bathroom. Common sense says she answered him and he heard her. Common sense says he'd have known she wasn't in bed. Common sense says he wouldn't have shot four times with such lethal ammunition. Of course you cannot be found guilty of murder on the basis of common sense, and add that to the defence's seemingly good job of painting him vulnerable, scared and damaged by his lack of legs, then he's gotten away with muyder.
