But isn't it massively ironic that: Sturridge cheated and got a slap on the wrist and Unnamed 29 year old Barnet Resident was allowed to play ALL last season whilst his actions (which might be a crime) were completely known...

* very probably a player for a North London, current PL team - either Annoying Crowing Farmyard Bird FC or Noisy Dangerous Weapons FC (Buzzy Horrible Insect FC are a logical alternative, but have no 29 year old players in their squad). There are a few possible players of this age at East London Taxpayers Sex Aid FC and Noisy Fans and Stripes (South London) FC as well as a handful at Unusual Stand in the Corner FC and only one (foreigner) at Ex-Oligarch FC.

Why are you surpised academy talents go for big fees and that no one wants to spend £8m on an Andre Gomes? You seem almost shocked it's happening.

ive never heard of issa kabore, he has no prem experience, his only football experience is in the belgium league and french league, the team he was on loan at last season finished 15th in the french league and he's worth more than 17 mil?
we couldn't even shift jonjoe kenny with prem league experience and bundesliga experience for a few mil
then a story has recently come out saying that one of our academy prospects who had a great season in scotland last season and played in a cup final could be sold for 500k

i'd happily take 30 mil for gordon but at least you can argue he has prem experience and has shown his quality last season against the likes of liverpool and man utd

Anything north of £30m would do it is the general consensus. 29, one year left on his current deal. Roma not in the Champions League (Europa Cup?) so don’t know if he would be motivated enough to go. I mean, Croydon or the Eternal City? Trevi Fountain or Jerk Chicken in Norwood High Street. Meh.
