I don't really see him as someone who is at the level to play regularly for them yet either.Would be an impact sub in his first season in my opinion. Very talented and capable of pretty regular moments of brilliance, but I don't think he'd be reliable enough for Pep until he'd coached him for a while.
Holgate can be sloppy on the ball so I get why City would avoid that. I actually rate Ake but when City have the money to buy literally anyone it is a weird one.Mad about Ake and Stones' transfers. Both are mid-table Premier League centre backs. I'd have Holgate over the pair of them. Actually surprising that neither side is interested in our Mason. Happy though!

Stones, Mustafi, Sokratis & David Luiz
Bottom half options there.
Setting up and organising the defence is not exactly Pep's strong point.
It's been a problem since he joined us. However, I guess the trophy count
absolves him of any blame domestically - but once you meet the top European
teams its a different deal altogether. I would love the defence & attack of Mancini's team
and the midfield of Pep. Now that would be something.
The money as well, two of those have gone for £50m fees and one has gone for £35m. Sokratis nearly £20m too, they're all centre backs who are admittedly good on their day, but never more than five times a season.
Why not just get Koulibaly? Unless you're getting him and ake?
