You dont pull me up tho - you just have high opinions of yourself and think anything anyone else says you dont agree with is wrong/wham/incorrect etc.

But he is wrong as football is very subjective in itself - a room of 6 people could watch the exact same game and come away with different opinions / conclusions therefore how can someone claim someone else chats "wham" about something that is largely opinion based?

The only way with football that you could pull someone up on is something factual i.e has Romelu Lukaku ever played for Everton? That is a yes or no therefore if I say no then yes im talking complete rubbish.

But something like "have Everton stopped spending big in comparison to other clubs" or "is Pickford good enough to be Evertons no1 keeper" are all subjective so it amuses me when the forum bouncers tell people how wrong other people are without any sense of perspective.

Like a Christian telling a Muslim they believe in the wrong thing its bonkers its subjective in its entire nature.

Of course, but disagreeing is a world away from calling people clueless, bores, wham talkers etc.

The art of debate ended with social media because people can throw mud hidden behind a screen therefore all respect goes. Once you lose your cool and sling mud you've lost the debate in my eyes.

I disagree with people on football (and enjoy to an extent as for me football shouldn't be a game of nodding heads and back patting) but I dont try discredit peoples intelligence or credibility as a supporter because I disagree with them on how good Jordan Pickford is for example.

Honestly I couldn't see Barkley being worse than Gomes in that current role. That's not to say I'd want us signing Barkley if we were actively looking for a replacement.

This will be the kiss of death I suppose, but that Villa side should be pretty good assuming Watkins can be an actual threat up top and the backline can be even the 15th best in the division. McGinn, Ross and Grealish is pretty handy.
