He's not awful, he's just bang average. Can defend when asked not to do anything to complicated like defend anything over his shoulder. There's dozens of defenders as good as him for a fraction of the price.

He'll do OK there. 10 to 15 goals. Problem is he will do nothing to build them up in the medium term, but take a squad space up from a younger player and leech cash.

They'd have been better sticking with Greenwood and giving him game time and, of course, just spending the money needed to get Sancho.

Would agree with this, they had a real chance to build after a strong finish and champs league qualification last season but they just come across constantly as a really poorly run club
