Honestly we could have done much worse than to get Deulofeu back on loan. If we're looking for a bench option what better a player who is only really effective coming off the bench?

Would have to see how he is after that big injury though, he's a bit of a pace merchant and if he loses a yard or two because of it, it'll make a big difference to his game.

Clear what Watford have done here too, ship him to the owners' other club to pay the wages for a year in a hope they get promoted this season and get him back.

Oh I totally forgot about that injury. Yeah, that's a risk.
 
I can't imagine most clubs getting as much credit for having a player sign a new contract as Arsenal have gotten for getting Aubameyang to resign. No one but the "Big 6" are getting credit for that kind of "signing."

He's the star player in the team and he signed a new contract when he could just as easily have walked and gotten a lucrative contract with any other club in the Champions league.
Think they would have hyped it if Kane/KDB/Salah etc did like wise.
Anyway most of the focus has been on MA persuading him to sign.
