Not heard anything. Aside from the general acceptance from our fan base that Wilf is off as far as I’m aware there have been no bids.
We still need to strengthen and reduce the average age and Wilf is rally our only saleable substantial asset. There will probably be another hoo ha about Palace’s “valuation” of him. The least that will happen is that his new and somewhat sharper agent will negotiate yet another new contract for even more dough a week but this time with a release clause. The level of that will be the sticking point but (a) we will slowly become less reliant on him and (b) will cash in at some point, it would be crazy to let him just run down his contract.
From an outsiders view I imagine if he doesn't go this season he'll struggle to get a move next summer coming into age 29, think you would also have to question his commitment based on some of his performances last season.
I think Palace should have taken the £50 million last summer when his stock was high and reinvested it in hindsight.
Be interesting if Everton do go back in for him like Doucoure - but again I suppose thats only if we stick with 442 going forward.
If we change to 433 I imagine it would be more of a wide forward that we would be looking at.
Even good clubs are hesitant to sign someone who is his age. I get the jokes are fun but it is a real thing.Yeah but his resale value would be shocking. Just wasting wages.
*Snigger
They put Mount in lmao
Then look what they've got in reserve too, no Rudiger, Reece James, Jorginho, Barkley, Loftus Cheek, Abraham, Hudson Odoi etc. They have to be considered title contenders to me.

I really rate some of those back ups you mentioned, Gilmour, Odoi and James are special talents.
I have an inkling to agree, really good recruitment and in a mad way the transfer ban worked in their favor they have been sitting on 200 mill in outs money for two years, while the rest of the football world is skint with the Covid impact. Free run to signing some of the worlds best players.
@kenada_blue made a good point last night, that, that many signings sometimes doesnt gel all that quickly, but im on the fence myself, some outstanding talents there.
Ive Pulisic, Chilwell in my FPL team already and if Havetz goes there hes straight in to.
Think the defense is still vulnerable but it's a lot better but the attacking side is pretty scary.
I've got Ziyech currently and I'm weighing up Werner. I'll be interested to see the price of Havertz, if he's close in price to Ziyech may take him instead. But yes if they click, they have a real chance.
Im a bit cautious of Ziyech mate for two reasons one hes coming from the dutch league and that is always a caveat for me and second Werner has a habit of drifting right and can play there so i can see mins/subbing being issue if he doesnt hit the ground running.
One of the lads well in to FPL did a heap of stats analysis and noted a high percentage of Werners goal come in from the left to center, so his conclusion was Pulsic and Werner might be the more ergonomic two for FPL - who know though.
