I think it's a solid step up mind. Keep on with windows like that and in a couple of seasons they'll be well established in the top of the mid-tablers and looking at the European spots. That's a sensible if unexciting approach to long term success.

I like their squad but top 6 nah lol

They've only signed a RB and ST on top of a squad that finished 17th.

That's one mighty leap.

Most of Villa's games last season were close, they didn't get loads of hammering and a lot of the goals they conceded were down to individual errors.
They have a season's experience have kept most of their players and added decent quality.

If they add Martinez for £20m and Grealish stays, I'd still tip them as a dark horse to finish 6th.

If you aim for 1st and come 4th you've had a good season , if you aim only for 6th and finish 8th you've got nowt to show for it.

Same here. Maybe they'd like to take Bolasie, Tosun and Sig off our hands. We'd probably have to increase the financial component with each extra players though.
